Came home from vacation, toilet was leaking from the tank, called Nichols and they sent Justin (who arrived early, which was amazing) and he had the seal fixed in about 20 minutes! Great company with excellent customer service and knowledgeable techs. They also replaced our HVAC system earlier this year and did an excellent job with that too! Will be using them for all our HVAC/plumbing/electrical needs from now on.

Look up the definition of PROFESSIONAL. You will see this, “Someone who has all the hassles, obstacles and disappointing frustrations that everyone else has, YET continues to persist, does the job, and makes it look EASY.” along with a photo of Justin Sheppard, Lead Plumbing Tech. May 2026 was our second call for service in 2 years at our weekend cabin half-way to Flagstaff in Oak Creek Canyon. Without our being there he arrived on the next business day to use a snake to remove debris in the toilet line, but that didn’t solve the problem entirely. Air kept bubbling up. The 30-year-old toilet had to go. Justin and I exchanged texts, as I described what I did and did not want as a new toilet —in what is a small bathroom in a small cabin. He returned the next day with a new toilet that he figured would be just what I wanted. It was. Nevertheless the problem persisted: Air bubbles from shower, sinks and toilet. He returned the next day and analyzed the problem as being air in the waste line —solved by hosing into the vents on the roof and using an electric septic line drain cleaner from the clean-out trap just above the septic tank. Voila. Problem solved. Roots as well as pine needles and leaves that fall into the air vents on the roof. The next step was mine: screens covering the 2 vents, which I did.
