"We called Nichols for a second opinion on an HVAC issue. The first company said we had a coil leak. Samuel found the leak was a refrigerant line that just needed to be brazed. This company saved us nearly $20,000!"

FAQ
Common cooling questions
Still have a question?(928) 300-1221
Common signs that your air conditioner may need repair include inconsistent cooling, unusual noises, foul odors, or increased energy bills. Our technicians perform thorough inspections to identify issues such as refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, or electrical problems. Early detection and prompt repairs can prevent minor issues from escalating, ensuring your unit maintains peak efficiency and long-term reliability.
We proudly serve the Cottonwood, Prescott, Sedona, and surrounding regions with top-tier air conditioning solutions. Our service area is extensive, ensuring that homeowners and businesses receive prompt and professional assistance no matter where they are located. We tailor our services to meet the unique climate and environmental demands of each area, providing reliable, efficient cooling solutions.
We service a wide variety of air conditioning systems, including traditional central air units, ductless mini-split systems, and high-efficiency models. Our team is experienced in handling systems from leading brands and is well-equipped to diagnose and repair any issues that may arise. We ensure that your cooling system, regardless of its type, is maintained and repaired to achieve optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Our technicians routinely address issues such as refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, clogged filters, and faulty thermostats. Other common problems include uneven cooling, unusual noises, and short cycling of the system. By accurately diagnosing the problem, we implement effective repairs that restore the system's performance and ensure it operates safely and efficiently, reducing the likelihood of future breakdowns.
Deciding whether to repair or replace your air conditioning system depends on several factors, including the age of the unit, the frequency of repairs, and overall energy efficiency. If your system is outdated or has recurrent issues, replacement may offer better performance and energy savings in the long run. Our experts will assess your system, provide detailed recommendations, and help you make an informed decision that best fits your budget and cooling needs.
