Repiping in Prescott & the Verde Valley

Much of the housing across Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, and the wider Verde Valley went up long before current plumbing materials existed. Galvanized steel supply lines corrode and scale from the inside until pressure fades and the water runs rusty. Polybutylene, the gray plastic pipe used in many homes built from the late 1970s into the mid 1990s, tends to give way at the fittings and is no longer approved for new potable water installations. Hard water speeds up both.

One leak is a repair. A pattern is a repipe.
