Nichols Plumbing, Electrical, & HVAC ("Nichols," "we," "us") is a licensed plumbing, electrical and HVAC contractor based at 4140 Western Dr, Cottonwood, AZ 86326, with a second location in Prescott Valley. This policy explains what information we collect through nicholsaz.com and when you call, text or email us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you request service or send us a message on this website, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you need, your message, and any coupon you claimed. We also keep the details you share when you call, text or email us, and the records we create when we do work for you, such as your service address, the equipment we worked on, estimates and invoices.

This website has no user accounts, and we do not take card payments on it.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form, our server also records the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate country (from your IP address). To stop spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to 48 hours and then delete it.

If you arrive from an ad or campaign link, the campaign tags in that link (such as the ad source or a Google click ID) are kept in your browser only for as long as that tab is open, so a request you send can be matched to the ad that brought you here.

We and our analytics, advertising and call-tracking providers use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and which ads and pages bring in calls and requests. See "Cookies and content from other companies" below.

• To follow up on coupons you claimed and on maintenance plans you ask about.

Phone calls and call tracking

We use call tracking to understand which of our ads and pages generate calls. Phone numbers on this website may be tracking numbers that connect to us normally. When you call one, we collect your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the marketing source that led to it. Calls may be recorded for quality, training and record-keeping.

Calls, texts and email

When you give us your phone number or email address on a form or over the phone, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text or email about your request and your service. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who else sees your information

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our business. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:

• Website hosting and database: host this site and securely store the requests you send us on servers in the United States.
• Email delivery: sends your request to our office as an email notification.
• Workflow and customer records: pass your name, phone number and email address into the system we use to manage customers and schedule work.
• Call and form tracking: shows tracking phone numbers and records which ads and pages lead to calls and requests.
• Analytics and advertising: measure how visitors use this site and which ads bring them here. Google and other ad partners may use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited this site.
• Financing: if you apply for financing on a new system, your application goes directly to the lender and is covered by the lender's own privacy policy.

We do not share your information for anyone else's advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our team, our customers or our property.

Cookies and content from other companies

We keep requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you, honor warranties and maintenance plans, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that we delete them or remove the details that identify you. The scrambled IP addresses used to stop spam are deleted within 48 hours, and campaign tags stay in your browser only for the tab you used.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by sending us a message through our contact form or calling (928) 300-1221. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.

Security

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the requests you send is limited to our team and the service providers described above. No website or storage system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging home and business services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
