Look up the definition of PROFESSIONAL. You will see this, “Someone who has all the hassles, obstacles and disappointing frustrations that everyone else has, YET continues to persist, does the job, and makes it look EASY.” along with a photo of Justin Sheppard, Lead Plumbing Tech. May 2026 was our second call for service in 2 years at our weekend cabin half-way to Flagstaff in Oak Creek Canyon. Without our being there he arrived on the next business day to use a snake to remove debris in the toilet line, but that didn’t solve the problem entirely. Air kept bubbling up. The 30-year-old toilet had to go. Justin and I exchanged texts, as I described what I did and did not want as a new toilet —in what is a small bathroom in a small cabin. He returned the next day with a new toilet that he figured would be just what I wanted. It was. Nevertheless the problem persisted: Air bubbles from shower, sinks and toilet. He returned the next day and analyzed the problem as being air in the waste line —solved by hosing into the vents on the roof and using an electric septic line drain cleaner from the clean-out trap just above the septic tank. Voila. Problem solved. Roots as well as pine needles and leaves that fall into the air vents on the roof. The next step was mine: screens covering the 2 vents, which I did.

June 30, 2026 Nichols HVAC is providing Wild Turkey Townhomes Air Conditioning Special Project service in conjunction with Roofing Contractors demo and new Roof installation in Sedona. Every Member of the HVAC Crew, Steve Lead, Benny HVAC Technician Support and another unnamed Technician (sorry) are providing excellent service and skills. They are lifting older Heat Pumps on the roof, providing power disconnects, evaluating the electrical supply, fabricating new stands, installing new bases, augmenting existing and new duct work and re-installing the Heat Pump around the new Roof being installed. Bravo! Shout out to all involved with this effort and their commitment to ensuring that expertise is employed to install, test, and monitor major Contracting scopes of work. 5/5 Stars – Highly Recommend! Nichols Mechanical did an incredible job on our new build, helping us bring our forever Sedona dream home to life! They handled the electrical, plumbing and the HVAC setup, and even took the extra time to come back & perfectly balance our HVAC air accordingly. Building a home always comes with a few twists and turns, but whenever there was a minor snafu, they were completely customer-forward. They were incredibly responsive and genuinely happy to make things right immediately. A huge shout-out to David, Mike, and Logan—they are nice, friendly guys who are absolute pros at what they do. If you want a team that cares about the quality of their work and their clients, look no further!

Can't recommend this company enough. You would think Michael has a masters in HVAC. Michael, has been, the most competent, easy to work with, and thorough professional i think i have ever seen. Michael was efficient in his work. Michael was thorough with his work. Michael was extreamly well educated, knowledgeable, amd competent with his work. He immediately found things that no other company (we've had several) even thought to do. Furthermore, he took notes and explained those notes in a way a 5 year old could understand. Michael is clearly a man of character and integrity. Dont waste your time with other companies that may not even send you a quote and give you a run-around. I had a breaker that wouldn’t reset and I had several important appliances on that circuit. It was evening and I contacted a 24 hour service. The technician spent until midnight trying to figure out what was causing the problem. He left unsuccessful. The next morning I called Nichols and their technician, after much persistence, was able to trace out the problem and brought the circuit back online. Reasonable billing considering the amount of time spent on the project. Thanks!

Tech Dan Culver Came out quickly to check my air conditioner that had quit over the weekend. He was excellent at troubleshooting the issue and showing me what went wrong.
