Was having problems with a leaking water heater, called multiple company’s and was scheduled days out or sent to voice mail. Contacted Nichols and Estynn their plumbing technician arrived within the hour and had the water heater replaced within two hours! Outstanding customer service with a fair price. I would seriously recommend Nichols Mechanical. It’s good to know there are still some great, courteous, kind, and honest company’s that simply want to get it done. I get it having a window between 12-2 but when the tech calls as requested and shows up before the “window” that’s just customer service. From the office staff to the rock star tech, Steven, who was on the phone with the Home Warranty company to make the repair as I drove up to the house. Amazing service!

Michael at Nichols Mechanical is super knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed and resolved our AC capacitor issue. He explains in detail the problem and normal vs abnormal levels in each system. I’ve been using their company for the past 4 years and they’ve consistently delivered great service. They’re fast, reliable, and know me and my properties very well, which makes everything smoother. While there have been a few issues over the years, they’ve always handled them quickly and professionally. The staff is polite and skilled, and definitely worth the money. A few years ago, I had trouble reaching someone at the front desk, but that issue has since been resolved and communication is much better now. Overall, highly recommended.

I have had different people from Nichols Mechanical out to my house and they all have impressed me with their professionalism. They arrive on time and since most of what they do is for bi-yearly maintenance they do a thorough job of looking over the equipment and telling me if or why something needs replacing. They also take pictures of parts and explain if something can last longer before it becomes a problem. They do not find things wrong just to sell me a part and service.

If you’re looking for an electrician, stop your search—go with Nichols! Logan, the manager, was absolutely top-notch. He made the entire process smooth and straightforward, keeping everything organized and on track from start to finish.

But the real star was Mike. If you can, request Mike to be your electrician. Not only is he a skilled professional, but he’s also an incredible lighting designer. Mike went above and beyond my expectations, crafting a stunning lighting plan for my home that brought the whole space to life. He was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure everything met my vision. Every time I had a question or concern, he responded quickly and with care.

Note to newcomers, dont let any bad reviews deter you. Trust me we have gone through multiple AC companies and Nichols mechanical was the first to be able to diagnose the issue and get it resolved in a timely manner. They are truly a great company.

We had an issue with our heater that went out on a crazy snow day. Michael came out, despite the conditions, and was able to get everything back up and running! Really friendly guy who clearly knew his stuff. He was able to explain why he was making all the fixes he did, and wasn’t rushing with a “band aid” solution. We have a very old house with a lot constraints and peculiarities. These guys were great, new HVAC until installed and dialed in and it all got balanced properly. Not an easy task given the 150 year old age of the house. Took many attempts but they finally got it right … I am grateful for their persistence and professionalism. Called Nichols Mechanical to get a new AC put in our home. Best experience we’ve ever had with a home service business. They will be servicing all our electrical and plumbing needs in the future as well. Adam and Corey were so helpful and answered all our questions. Lorenzo and Rene had our old AC out and the new one in same day in no time at all. They even got us hooked up with a new smart thermostat and the house is cooler than ever!
